this is the same group of fungi almost two weeks later , looking a lot more like the pictures in the identification source. Do these make it more certain that they are Clouded Funnel (Clitocybe nebularis)? they are obviously very tasty to small creatures as they are well nibbled!


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Much more confident in my Id

Much more confident in my Id now and would change it to "as sure as I can be" if I could.

NOT honey fungus

thank you Mal for your identification - I am just so relieved that it isn't the dreaded honey fungus
