Description:

Black berries similar to Crataegus pentagyna but lobed leaf does not match. Could be an ornamental species or hybrid?

Thanks, sloes was my gut feeling initially today but couldn't sse the oval leaves for the lobed leaves. I can see them now you have pointed them out!!!
