Can anybody help with ID please.
Louise from Northumberland advised "This looks interesting. Hymenoptera. The abdomen appears to be attached high up on the thorax (most wasps attached low down). According to the key in Yeo and Corbet this makes it a member of the Superfamily Evanoidea, a group of parasitic wasps related to the Ichneumon. This appears to be a Gasteruption species, and I think it might be a male as it has no long ovipositor sticking out from the abdomen. Sorry but I can't get any further as I do not have a key to this group.
