Strange crustacean

star shaped sea crustacean
Description:

floating in the sea and washed up on the shore. Saw it again about 5 years ago, again on the west coast of Ireland
five translucent bivalves attached to a fleshy centre giving a star like appearance

Spelling

Should be Buoy barnacle, & there's nae doot aboot it! (plenty of ex's if you search Buoy branacle or Dosimia in Ispot)
