Description:

I noticed this tiny critter as I was photographing this thistle type plant. Its about 3mm in length, any suggestions?

Thanks Amantell20,

Yeah it does look a bit too fluffy. That plant is an impressive structure, the flowers are yellow and there is a strong resinous smell from the plant, I had a feeling that it just wasnt right for a thistle, I should post it in plants.

Aphids

There are a couple of aphids low down amongst the flower buds so I tend to think the white one is an aphid too, but dead and with fungus - though can't be sure.
