Description:

Large herbaceous perennial, grows 5' tall quite easily.
Stout green stems: rigid, self-supporting.
Leaves large (at least a foot long), green, finely toothed, white central mid-rib, always look as though they need ironing: arranged alternately, upper leaves clasping, lower leaves have short pedicels.
Flowers: like a giant, ragged, yellow daisy.
