Cap 3-7cm convex expanded to umbonate often splitting at the margin with age pale violate white silky veil,gills violate clay print rust,stem pale violaceous deeper in the stem apex,stem swollen towards the base concolorous with cap in mixed woodland Beech,Sycamore and pine
