iyellow tufted fungus.

Numerous yellow. Orange fruiting bodies on rowan stump and buried roots. Slimy to touch but dries out quite firm. No evident ring on stipe. Spores brown, gills white the
N olive green/brown. Cap 2-4cm stipe c 6cm.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
