Description:

Coprinopsis lagopus or Parasola plicatilis?
A small group of beautiful mushrooms growing in wood chips among thistles in a recently created bed.
Cap pleated light-grey almost transparent with white veil remains, upturned towards margin, about 2.5 cm across.
Gills light grey with darker edges.
White stem about 5 cm long, a few mm diameter.
Given the veil remains and the wood chip substrate, I'm plumping for C lagopus.
