Diet (or genetics)

This sort of leuchism in corvids is I think to do with some deficiencies in the diet. There may also be a genetic component.

Crow

I have a pair of crows that nest each year in a tree in my garden. One of them used to be just like the one in your pic but moulted nearly all the white feathers out and grew black ones to replace them.

Damage during development can cause partial albinism like this, which explains subsequent regrowth of normal feathers.
