Fish with white globules

Observed: 8th September 2012 By: Chris Murphy
Fish with white globules

This small, stickleback-sized fish was one of many that appeared to carry white pearl-like globules on their body. Our impression was that this was a growth or parasite of some kind. In heavily 'infected' fish, such as the one photograped, the globules were all over. Some had only one or two, could be anywhere on the fish. Not all the fish had them. The fish seemed to swim unimpeded.
