As far as I know S vibex has never been recorded from Ireland, so this probably is permistus. But they're quite hard to tell apart so it may be that vibex is present and just hasn't been recorded.
It could be that alright. I have just got the new book by Barnard and Ross today. I must take a look at the 2 species to see just how difficult they are to tell apart. Thanks for your regular feedback on caddisflies.
