Description:

On siliceous coastal rock sheltered in a natural corridor. Thallus green-grey, very thin. Perithecia c. 0.5mm, conical and rounded or flattened, or concave around the ostiole, resembling miniature volcanoes, some fused together. Ascospores simple, colourless, oblong with rounded ends, 10-14 x 6-8µm (mean 12.9 x 7.1µm).
