Yes, definitely an alpine

Yes, definitely an alpine newt. For what its worth, the scientific name iSpot uses on the 'get recommended' button is incorrect. It should be Ichthyosaura alpestris. The generic name Mesotriton was proposed a few years ago but I believe it breaks the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature rules so shouldn't be used.
