Description:

Scat found on pavement next to farmland. Approx. 8 cm in length.

I was under the impression that Badger tend to use latrines.

Unlikely to be badger

As the scat is not in a pit and is on what looks to be the edge of a road, I would suggest its fox
depending on if the stones are cheery or rowan
there might be another explanation

Stones look like Blackthorn/

Stones look like Blackthorn/ plum section of Prunus: too flat for Cherry & too large for Rowan.

I agree it might be fox but still not certain. It didn't have a carnivore smell!
