No confusing that one! I am amazed that these are thought to breed there (on the map - is that right?), and even more amazed that the area has been rebranded. I loved it as Beddington Sewage Farm back in the day.

Unfortunately the sewage farm land use is being phased out - due to end completely in March 2013. The area is slowly being restored in a nature and country park so they've come up with Beddington Farmlands as the name.
Amazing that there seems to be a population round here.
So farewell BSF then... would make a great article for David Lindo.
David's a good friend of the Bird Group and has championed Beddington on several occasions.
Indeed farewell to BSF- sludge beds are agaisnt EU regs now apparantely.
