A dead moss covered stump was the home of this fungus , white ,like lumpy porridge , 10mm across at most same height.

Looks like a slime mould
Were they hard as I find this on conifer stumps and it has a grey ting to it but I have never found out what it was
I would say firm rather than hard .Was greyer than picture .
