Description:

Checking my berries for the BTOs Winter Thrush Survey, I am no botanist so very much need to check.
This berry seems very popular, already mostly gone.

Ooh - Mitcham Common!

Mitcham Common is where my dad grew up in the 30s!

I did my first BTO thrush survey walk today, but only heard a blackbird. Mind you, it was pouring with rain.

Nice Coincidence

Interesting, your dad would be about the same age as mine then. Be interested to know how the common has changed, if it has.

Did my first walk the other day too, similarly little luck. Though I did have quite a nice flock of starlings to add to my two blackbirds.

you can change the title

It's probably worth editing the title to Elder (if you go to your list of observations, there's an edit box somewhere).
