Really need close up photos of cap and under side of fungi plus size and type of wood it was growing on to be sure on identification
I do try but I was balancing in the middle of a stream at the time!
Fungi always find hard to get to places to grow I have had many a wet foot or bruise trying to get a photo.When your next out have a look around conifer stumps as they tend to grow on them and the under surface is bluish too.
I'm just getting interested in fungi, I'll certainly try again. Cheers!
