Half a dozen on a self-planted sunflower (from bird seed). Small black spots (eggs?) on underside of leaf

Yes - they are definately ladybird larvae, but I am not sure what species.
The lower one looks like the invasive foreigner - the Harlequin ladybird. The
other 2 could be British species.

Probably Harlequin LB

The top two are pupae, the lower one is a larva.
