Description:

About 12 bolete type fungi found in grass amongst pine trees (not larch). Caps were slimy.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

look out for any of these fungi with the red colouration as that organism is still defying identification.

Thanks for info. Have checked the ispot reference above and yes this is the exact same spot where they have created a horse trail beside the Greensand Ridge Walk path. Visited the location again yesterday and no obvious sign of red colouration this year.
