Reminiscent of Firebug (Pyrrhocoridae) but this may be fortuitous?
No interactions present.
Its listed as coastal in my book , but we had it in Leicester last year & at least two years previously.
If you go to the NBN map you can put in a range of dates and colour code the map. This shows an amazing spread from being largely coastal (and most records from Wales) prior to 2005, then steadily spreading eastwards and inland.
Many thanks folks!
Interesting to know about the eastward spread.
