Description:

I have lived on the IOW for 34 years but never really noticed this plant until this year! It seems to be everywhere, on waste ground, in car parks and even appeared in my garden! I know I'm probably opening up a can of worms by putting it on iSpot because it has been the subject of great controversy looking at previous observations of the genus, but anyway here it is! My specimen was really past it's best when I decided to photograph it.I've plumped for C. sumatrensis as according top the IOW Flora, this is the most rapidly spreading species.
