Is it pure blackthorn?

You have to be careful - I believe blackthorn hybridises readily with naturalised plums and that an increasing number of supposed "blackthorn" bushes are really these hybrids. What makes me suspicious in this case is that the flowers don't seem to be as compact or densely packed as in true blackthorn, and the fact that there are leaves at the same time as the flowers. I think that in "pure" blackthorn the leaves only appear after the flowers have started to fade.
