Semi--transparent Scale worm (Alentia gelatinosa) on the move over encrusting red algae (Lithothamnion sp.) in rockpool low on the shore, near Falmouth, Cornwall, UK, August.
Description:

4cm gelatinous scale worm - scales often invisible as seemed mucosal and definition lost much of the time and when out of water, just visible under water when light at certain angles. Found in a rockpool low on the shore in Cornwall
