The characters needed to determine the species are not clearly visible in the photos. (Phyllaries strongly recurved at tip, leaves with no glandular hairs above). I have been sent a record for E. sphaerocephalus from this site but don't know how reliable it is! The leaves don't appear glandular which would fit exaltatus.
I have now visited these plants as indicated by the re-ID. The other one turned out to be E. exaltatus which was a useful comparison. E bannaticus is a new record for the site. Thanks!
