Several feeding on a flower head of hogweed in behind dunes. One was noticeably bigger than the others.

not Amblyteles armatorius

armatorius has 2 yellow bands in the male, and more in the female, not one broad yellow band. Compare previous images on iSpot

I have been told they are

I have been told they are tricky! Not sure that there is a red one. I wasn't aware at the time. It may be just looks red through the wings.
