Longitudinal thoracic stripes distinguish this genus of hoverfly.
No interactions present.
Almost certainly pendulus, as it looks like a female with the frons clearly demarcated yellow and black, in front of the ocellar triangle. In hybridus, the distinction is less clear and the yellow tends to go back along the sides of the ocellar triangle. Length is less useful, as size is so variable in these. It does not have the look of trivittatus, as the colour looks too orange and the abdominal pattern is wrong.
