Stone bridge wall lichens 2
P1030977_Parmelia poss omphalodes
Description:

Growing on a stone bridge wall, very dark brown foliose lichen. Rather lumpy growth with plenty of lobes throughout and some lecanorine apothecia present, the edges of which are lighter than the slightly reddish brown centre. I think this may be another Parmelia, possibly omphalodes?

Thank you for the explanation

Thank you for the explanation, Alan. I'll take another look for isidia, which I clearly should have noted but didn't.
