Description:

Found large amounts in mixed wood but they all seemed to be emerging in very shaded area's hence the dark photo's.Cap cream darker in the centre firm and slightly downy ranged from 4-8cm in dia.The spines of white decurrent,the stem was off white and stout.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

I found these hard to photograph as it was dark were they were,I try to get good shot's for identification but you want to see how many go in my recycle bin.I take about 15 pictures of each fungi.
