Prickly Lettuce

Many thanks for ident - reviewed with Rose's Key, and it does seem to match the description. Smaller leaves are erect, as well as having spines and whitish veins, and the inflorescence stems are at acute angle to main reddish stem. Thrown by colour of buds, because PL flowers appear to be yellow. Nevertheless, I agree your ident.
