Grey Squirrel on outbuilding roof, somehow managed to get a dirty mark on its nose.

That's not just any old dirty mark, it's camouflage. This is a member of the SAS (Special Air Squirrels)probably on on a covert ops mission to reconnoiter your garden for an easy birdtable target.

Spot on with your comment Graham, a few days later the Squirrel found his way into an open shed and raided the store of bird seeds. Should have been awarded a medal for a successful mission.
