Description:

White, seemingly ecorticate crust sheltered by overhang on siliceous coastal rock (photos 3 & 4). Thallus C-, K-. Dotted with black, sessile pycnidia, some pruinose. Conidia 4-6 x 2µm, colourless, narrowly ellipsoid to bacilliform.
I should probably have walked past this one!
