In Coniferous woodland cap size 4cm dry brown,pores yellow no colour change when cut flesh white but also hints of yellow only the one.

Quick glance don't think its b.badius but this can be a bit variable, was there any bluing as this is a very obvious thing to look out for.
Actually on second thoughts if this was in conifer wood (esp pine) then it is likely b.badius.
I have sometimes found odd ones that don't show colour change and never really been sure what they were but not sure there is much else other than b.badius that they can be looking approx like this in this habitat.
I cut it and there was no change,I have brought it home as sometimes they change after a while but still no change, the pines were Picea sitchensis and Picea abies
