Golden eggs of Cornish sucker fish

Observed: 20th August 2012 By: Nick UptonNick Upton’s reputation in Fish
Developing eggs of Cornish sucker fish / Shore clingfish (Lepadogaster lepadogaster) attached to the underside of a boulder in a rockpool low on the shore where a parent stays to guard them, near Falmouth, Cornwall, UK, August.

Pretty golden eggs under boulder very low on a Cornish shore. Am pretty sure they belong to the Cornish sucker (many of these fish found nearby) which stay to guard their eggs on the shore. (NB boulder carefully replaced in same spot with eggs downwards!)
