2 buttercups

Photo 2 looks OK for Ranunculus repens, but I think photo 1 is R. bulbosus. I think I see reflexed sepals on the top 2 right-hand flowers and the stems all radiate from one point.

Thanks for the interesting comment cicuta58. Could there be two plants here? I have studied the photo closely and wonder if the two right-hand flowers are R.bulbosus because of the sepals. I was expecting to see a stalked middle lobe to the leaves which looks as though it might be present at the base of these flowers but not on the main ones? Although the stems radiate from one point they don't appear to be bulbous in any way?

Bulbous

The bulbous element tends to be at or below ground. The flower at the top looks to have reflexed sepals also.
