Arctic / Northern cowrie (Trivia arctica) on subtidal rock encrusted with Coralweed (Corallina officinalis) Wembury, Devon, UK, August.
Description:

Small 10mm cowrie with unspotted shell found near Plymouth, Devon on a very low tide around the water line. Yellowish mantle was extended around base of shell when I first saw it, but it retereated into the shell before I could photograph it.
