Description:

Very difficult Genus to identify without a microscope and chemical tests.I have tried to narrow it down from just look's and habitat and think it may be R.queletii spore print was creamy yellow.Growing in mixed coniferous woodland.

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Typical!

This is always happening to me! At the beginning of a walk I'm keen and record rigorously but then if I'm lucky enough to hit a good spell the excitement takes over or I'm distracted by the dog or tired or ....
