Description:

A brassy brown plume moth. Distinct white patch on read end of thorax (as in Platyptilla calodactyla), however wingtips appear more hooked with pronounced lobes . Pronounced abdominal 'bulge' at tip. Some white on knees. Size 20mm wing tip to tip, head to abdomen 9mm.

I fully agree with your id. This photo appeared in the "help with confirming observations" carousel last night and I looked at it again deciding it was acanthadactyla. I didn't notice that I'd assigned it to punctidactyla.
