2 ladybirds found on a privet hedge. Very small in size, 3mm max. Last year there were dozens of them, this year only these 2 have been found.
No interactions present.
I gather that numbers of 2-spot ladybirds have been particularly hit by Harlequins. Have these been around?
I haven't seen them on this hedge this year either but they are reasonably common in the rest of the garden, but even they are down in numbers compared with last year.
