Description:

This very handsome and showy shrub is growing in a neighbours garden alongside the road. It has been flowering for some time now and is breathtakingly beautiful, I wanted to capture an image of it before it starts to go over.

Eucryphia!

Thanks for your comment Janet, yes it is a very stunning plant. In the last couple of days the petals have started to drop, so pleased I caught it when I did. Not a very commonly planted species so this one is notable for a small private garden.
