I've searched for this one without finding the same pattern - nearest I found was the Double Striped Pug, but I'm not convinced. It was about 3cm wingspan.

I Think You're Right!

I have another picture which shows the moth on my door, which permits me to make a good estimate of its wingspan - about 35mm.
