Common Starling
Description:

One of a group of 14 juveniles that visit the garden on a regular basis this summer, causing chaos on the bird tables. It's nice to see them doing so well.

Starling Numbers

Indeed, good to see. My experience is that Starling numbers seem to have dropped significantly in our area (Mid-Glamorgan) this year - we used to have 6-8 regular visitors, but now have none.

Decline

I know they are on the decline nationally but they seem to be doing well here as are the House Sparrows of which we have about 10 regulars.
