Description:

This Gatekeeper seems to have two unusual red spots or lumps where the thorax meets the abdomen. I've not seen these before and wondered if anyone could shed any light on these.

They're likely to be ticks or

They're likely to be ticks or mites, you quite often see them on Meadow Browns and Marbled Whites also....
