Description:

5-petalled flower,shaped like a star, Leaves are dark green and very bristly! Flowering habit is very constant and consistant throughout many months: Just like Borago officinalis. It also has a more creeping/branching habit with its leaves & stems, with many clusters of flowers, which are pink when young. Flowers are edible with a unique Cucumber taste, which can be bit more intense than Borago officinalis. Its young bristly leaves, can also be used, but be careful of slugs & snails! Which love to nibble young leaves! Seeds ripen as a cluster of 4 black coloured, Borage like seeds.
