Description:

Shimmering gold beetle, its wings appearing as if made from gold lame with feathered edges. Orange head with yellow eyes and long antennae which are dark near the head, fading to almost white a third of the way along. A most handsome beetle spotted on a scabious in a wild flower meadow.
