One of the smallest wasps I have yet seen - about 1.5mm in length from head to tip of the abdomen. (The current New Scientist (18/08/2012) has an article on how small an animal can be and still remain that sort of animal. The discussion was confined to vertebrates – in which problems can arise that don’t apply to terrestrial invertebrates. However, there might be some developmental issues in common).
