This is an amazing avenue of Holm Oaks which stretch for just under a mile along a bridle way which borders farmland

These trees line part of Ilex Avenue, which is obviously named after the trees. I believe they were planted in the 1830s. If you live in the area it would be useful if you could record at least one of the trees for the Ancient Tree Hunt (see as the avenue as a whole is certainly a significant feature.
