Ragged

It is half way through its post-juvenile moult. The new red feathers on the breast are gradually replacing the brown, pale tipped juvenile feathers. It still has the head and mantle to go, so a few weeks before it is fully fresh.

Seems logical

On the day I was unsure, but the picture suggested a robin, but not quite right. A juvenile in transition to adulthood would be logical - thanks
