Description:

My first thought was that this is another spider-hunting wasp (Dipogon is often seen on the wall) but the morphology seems more of an Ichneumon/Brachonid type. If a grasshopper is nesting in the wall (re my immediately previous post), could this wasp be hunting that, or its offspring?
